Infinity Blade set a new standard when it came to mobile games. The first game to use the Unreal Engine on iOS, this was more than just a simple puzzle game or a licensed tie-in; instead, the game really set out the push the boundaries of what mobile gaming could be.
While the series itself has more or less come and gone, there are still some great games out there that have a very similar spirit to this giant of the mobile gaming world.
Although Infinity Blade set the standard too high, let’s see below seven games that are similar to this masterpiece.

Maybe your particular need in the gaming space is finding a game that allows you to explore a bigger world.
While Infinity Blade definitely got a lot of praise for its ability to create a great video game world, it’s not the only game out there to do so.
In fact, you might want to check out Beast Quest in order to scratch a very similar itch.
Beast Quest is a mobile game that allows players to journey through a massive open world in order to fight various beasts.

While most mobile spinoffs of bigger titles aren’t worth your time, you might be pleasantly surprised by what you find in The Elder Scrolls: Blades.
Set in the same world as the popular The Elder Scrolls series, Blades is a mobile adaptation that allows you to take on an entirely new quest.
Though you’re obviously not going to get an experience here that’s nearly as big as what you would find in a game like Skyrim, Blades does manage to flesh out the universe a little bit more while still providing an excellent mobile experience for those who are still waiting for the next Elder Scrolls title to finally get released by Bethesda.
5) Dawnbringer
Sometimes it’s fun to check out a game that’s a little more story-heavy than what you might traditionally find on the various app stores.
One of the things that Infinity Blade got right was ensuring that players felt like they were doing more than just randomly swiping and Dawnbringer manages to do the same thing.
Though Dawnbringer plays will plenty of gaming tropes in its story, that doesn’t make it any less fun.
Sure, you’ve got two very different brothers discovering the secrets of a new world, but even that is deeper than what you will find in most mobile games.
This, plus a solid combat system and some exploration that actually feels like exploring, makes it a game that is well worth your time.
6) GrimValor
One of the things that struck players about Infinity Blade when it was first released was how real the world looked.
Though the graphics of the original version of the game are dated by now, the truth is that it still helped to set a standard for the games that would follow.
Though GrimValor isn’t exactly the same, it’s such a good looking game that you’ll want to check it out when you’re ready for something new.
GrimValor is a hack ‘n slash game that allows players to chain together complex attacks as they go after enemies.
The third-person, side-scrolling view is very different than Infinity Blade but it does allow the developers to show off the world.
If you’re looking for game that’s going to really draw you in and make you feel like you’re playing a full-sized video game, this might be the best choice for you.
7) Darkness Rises
Darkness Rises is, at least in its advertising, a game that very much wants to be like Infinity Blade.
Not only does it have a similar medieval world and some really deep options, it’s also one that really pushes itself hard as something more than just a mobile game. While it’s not quite as in-depth as the ads make it look, it’s still a pretty solid game for most.
Darkness Rises is very much a hack ‘n slash, third-person game. While you can create a character, you shouldn’t let that fool you into thinking this is some kind of MMO.
Instead, the game is a pretty standard mobile game that sometimes reaches some impressive heights. It doesn’t quite match up with Infinity Blade, but it is worth your time.
